The Do Not Use Water Advisory has been lifted. The City of Rosenberg and the TCEQ has issued a statement indicating there is no safety issue with the Brazosport Water Authority water distribution system. Therefore, the district is recommending that all customers resume normal water usage.
It is urgent that customers of the district Do Not Use Water for any use until further notice. Even though the district has switched over to 100% well water and flushed the lines, the district still has not received an update from the TCEQ, Brazosport Water Authority or the City of Rosenberg. Therefore, we still recommend that you Do Not Use Water for Drinking, Cooking or Bathing.
We will update you again when information changes.
